A new organisation known as the Cameroon Quality Mouvement with mission to accompany the government in its efforts to combat fake produce in the Cameroonian markets has been made official in Yaounde.
The organ is expected to work with private and public enterprises, institutions and the Standard and quality agency in meeting its set objectives.
The ceremony witnessed the installation of a seven-man team of the executive bureau to lead the destiny of the Cameroon Quality Mouvement till 2030. The bureau is led by the founding president of the organisation, Martin Yankwa.
Members will work towards regulating standards, product certification, and ensuring that goods and services meet established safety and quality guidelines.
