Members of the Judiciary Corps of Cameroon have paid homage to the emeritus President of the Supreme Court, Alexis Dipanda Mouelle during a solemn ceremony at the Supreme Court in Yaoundé this Thursday June 25, 2026.

The Minister of State, Minister of Justice, and Keeper of the Seals in Cameroon is Laurent Esso, represented the President of the Republic at the ceremony.

The Procureur General of the Supreme Court, Justice Marie Claire Dieudonné Nseng Elang and other members of the Judiciary and State Officials are present at the ceremony at the courtyard of the Supreme Court to pay glowing tributes to the super scale magistrate of the first group.

Born in 1942, Alexis Dipanda Mouelle died on May 4, 2026 in Yaounde.
The final journey of the emeritus President of the Supreme Court began with the coffing ceremony at the Yaoundé General Hospital.
A funeral mass was also said at the Mary Queen of the Apostle Basilica in Mvolye.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday June 27 after an official funeral ceremony at the Bonakou Bwapaki village in the Littoral Region.
