The University of Ebolowa has entered a new chapter in its academic history with the launch of its first-ever PhD thesis defence at the Faculty of Law and Political Science.
Fourteen doctoral candidates are presenting research, marking the institution’s emergence as a centre for advanced academic training and research.
The first defence was delivered by Police Commissioner Alain Hervé Oyono before a jury chaired by Professor Aboya Manassé and under the supervision of the Rector, Professor Jean-Bosco Etoa Etoa.
His research focused on the role of the police in addressing Cameroon’s security challenges.
