Social Dialogue: Consultation Committee meets in Yaoundé

The 48th and 49th Ordinary Sessions of the Consultation and Monitoring Committee for Social Dialogue is holding in Yaoundé this June 30.

The sessions are chaired by the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Gregoire Owona.

Representatives of government employees and workers unions are exploring new approaches to improving working conditions and preserving social dialogue.

The stakeholders are expected to make valuable contributions to improving the workplace, and assess recommendations from previous sessions of the social dialogue watchdog.

The Consultation and Monitoring Committee for Social Dialogue is an important platform for consensus on Labour-related issues affecting employers and employees.
